Strings for Kids offers violin, viola and cello lessons for children ages 5–18. Each semester consists of 11 private lessons and a recital. Students will have the opportunity to participate in workshops, benefit events, and concerts at the Manchester Community Library, Equinox Terrace, and other local venues.

b) Meet with the teacher and rent an instrument
c) Mail or e-mail an enrollment form for each student. You will receive an invoice for tuition payment

Taconic Junior Ensemble

Taconic Junior Ensemble is an introductory string ensemble for advanced beginner to intermediate students ages 7 and up, led by Joana Genova. 

Fall, winter and spring sessions will be held, with each session consisting of seven 45-minute rehearsals and one performance at the Manchester Community Library.

$50 fee for each session.

Taconic Youth Sinfonietta

Coming Fall of 2017!

A new orchestra in Manchester, VT for talented young musicians up to age 19 playing violin, viola, cello, double bass, woodwinds, brass and percussion. Intermediate to advanced students can audition for the Taconic Youth Sinfonietta. Advanced beginners will be placed in the Junior Strings Ensemble, an introductory group to help learn basic ensemble skills.
