Taconic Music is pleased to offer area violin, viola, cello and double bass students, ages 8 and up, the experience of playing in a string ensemble. Directed by cellist Karen Svirsky and coordinated by violinist Joana Genova, the Taconic Junior Ensemble, founded in the fall of 2018, rehearses on Mondays from 5:30 to 6:30pm at Zion Episcopal Church in Manchester.

The Fall session, which begins September 30, will consist of 7 rehearsals and culminate in two performances on November 16 & 17. The program fee is $50. Prior ensemble experience is not required, but all students must be able to read music. Please read the information about rehearsals and policies before submitting an enrollment form.
