Founded in the fall of 2018, Taconic Junior Ensemble, is directed and coordinated by Joana Genova.
The ensemble is open to violin, viola, cello and double bass students, ages 8 and up.
No audition required, but students must have at least 2 years instrument experience and to be able to read music.

Policies and procedures
Students must be dropped off 5 minutes before the start of rehearsal so they can unpack their instruments and tune.
Pick up is promptly at the ending time.
Participation in Taconic Junior Ensemble is not intended to replace school or private music lessons.
We are guests of Burr and Burton Academy. Students are expected to treat the building with respect.
