Kinhaven Music School’s Windhaven band will perform for the public in Maple Street School’s Hunter Room, benefiting Taconic Music's educational outreach programs.  

Windhaven is a selective, week-long immersive program of woodwinds, brass, and percussion, led by Dr. Thomas McCauley, Director of University Bands at the John J. Cali School of Music at Montclair State University (NJ). Last spring, the Windhaven orchestra took the audience's breath away with a stunning performance of David Maslanka's 4th symphony. This year they return to present Maslanka's epic 7th symphony, along with selections by Charles Ives, William Bolcom and Joseph Turrin.
